Write for us
We welcome thoughtful pitches about the choices and small observations that help people explore cities with more confidence and curiosity. Send proposals through the Contact page; please do not submit a finished article unless we ask for one.
What we are looking for
Propose a focused, evergreen article about urban routes, pacing, orientation, preparation or discovery. Strong ideas answer a real reader question, offer a distinct angle and can be useful without statistics, first-hand testing or claims that depend on local rules.
Make the pitch specific
Include a working title, the central idea, the intended reader and a short outline of what the piece would help them understand or choose. Mention any sources or expertise the idea would require, and flag details that may vary by destination.
Keep it original and grounded
We do not accept recycled copy, unsupported claims or pitches that require professional advice to act on. Please tell us if the idea has been sent elsewhere or published before. We cannot promise publication or a particular response time.
Where to send it
Use the Contact page and select the editorial question option for a pitch. A concise message with the key details is the best place to begin.
